HULL BANKROLLED BY TRUMP DONORS

Nearly $400K raised by Hull came from individuals who also donated to Trump

ALBUQUERQUE - This week, campaign finance report data for Republican candidate for Governor of New Mexico Gregg Hull revealed that he has received $382,261.31 so far from Trump-aligned donors who have also given a combined total of $1,347,734.00 to the president’s campaigns.

These findings prove a key point in the race to be New Mexico’s next governor: Gregg Hull will be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and his millionaire donors, and the wrong choice to lead New Mexico into the future. Hull wants deeper cuts to SNAP and Medicaid benefits, just like Donald Trump, even though nearly 250,000 New Mexicans recently received notices that they could lose their Medicaid benefits come January 1, 2027, thanks to Trump’s Big Ugly Bill.

Meanwhile, New Mexico's Democratic candidate for Governor, Deb Haaland, continues to meet with voters across the state. She has received more than 13,300 contributions from New Mexicans, with an average online donation of $21.78. As of the latest reporting, Haaland has $3.4 million in cash on hand for the final stretch of the campaign, compared to $510,000 for Hull. Hull’s average donation for this reporting period was $496.01.

“Gregg Hull will kiss Trump’s ring and bend over backward to do the bidding for MAGA millionaires,” said Mila Myles, spokeswoman for the New Mexico Democratic Party. “Numbers don’t lie, and this latest fundraising report proves that those who support Donald Trump also support Gregg Hull. New Mexicans need a governor who will stand up to Trump and fight back against his cuts to SNAP and Medicaid, and that person is Deb Haaland.”
