ICYMI: Yvette Herrell Caught Red-Handed for Removing Extreme Anti-Abortion Stance from Website
MAGA Candidate for NM-02 Exposed for Hiding Unpopular Stance from Voters
In case you missed it, the Huffington Post caught Yvette Herrell, radical GOP candidate for New Mexico’s Second Congressional District, red-handed trying to hide her extreme stance on abortion from voters last week. However, her scheme to hide from her anti-choice record without New Mexicans noticing failed.
Archived internet records show that Herrell’s stance on abortion was prominently featured on her website in her previous congressional campaigns, referring to herself as “100% pro-life.” But now, any reference to abortion has been scrubbed from her website and campaign materials.
“Yvette Herrell should know better than to think she can remove any mention of her anti-abortion position from her website without New Mexicans noticing,” said Democratic Party of New Mexico Spokesperson Daniel Garcia. “But voters will remember that Herrell has always been one of the most absolute opponents to any and all abortion rights and access to reproductive care. It’s no surprise that Yvette Herrell would try to avoid the topic altogether, hoping that she won’t be held to task for her record that includes sponsoring the Life at Conception Act and consistently opposing all abortion, with no exceptions.”
