DPNM Calls on Democrats to Donate to Fire Relief
DPNM Calls on Democrats to Donate to Fire Relief
The Democratic Party of New Mexico is asking for donations to support relief efforts for the communities impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires. DPNM is raising awareness for the Mescalero Apaches Tribe’s GoFundMe for South Fork and Salt Fire relief efforts and the Greatest Needs Impact Fund of the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico which was set up in coordination with the Governor’s Office to distribute relief funds to those in impacted communities.
“The Democratic Party of New Mexico sends our sincerest condolences to everyone impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires in Lincoln County. DPNM is calling on every Democrat to step up and support relief efforts for fellow New Mexicans during this tragic time,” said Democratic Party of New Mexico Chair Jessica Velasquez.
DPNM will also hold a supply drive at the Post-Primary Convention this Saturday at Buffalo Thunder Casino. Participants in the convention are encouraged to bring non-perishable food and essential hygiene items. DPNM will also be collecting supplies at their Albuquerque headquarters Tuesday through Thursday next week during business hours.
