Democratic Party of New Mexico Begins Processing Provisional Ballots

(Albuquerque, NM) Today, the Democratic Party of New Mexico began processing 17,246 provisional votes. The Party has also processed the absentee and regular vote count.
"We've made significant progress in completing the canvass, and we are focused on getting this job done quickly and accurately," said Chairman Brian Colón. "As of today, our volunteers have processed regular ballots and began processing provisional ballots."
The provisional ballot process will consist of the following steps:
- Opening and sorting of the provisional ballots;
- Qualifying the provisional ballots; and
- Tabulation of the provisional ballots.
"We absolutely understand the urgency of getting results quickly and accurately, for the interests of both campaigns, the Democratic Party and the people of New Mexico," said Chairman Brian Colón. "We are especially grateful to the dozens of volunteers who have been working from 7am to 10pm each day and remain committed completing the process."
The Democratic Party of New Mexico and its volunteers will work through the weekend, from 7am to 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
