Lincoln County Democratic Party Meeting

Greetings, Fellow Democrats!
There will be a meeting of the Lincoln County Democratic Party on Thursday, February 3, 2005. The meeting will be held at K-Bob's Restaurant on Highway 70 in Ruidoso.
PLEASE INFORM ANY FELLOW DEMS YOU KNOW WHO DON'T HAVE E-MAIL ACCESS!
Dinner at 6:00 PM; order off the menu
6:30 PM - Guest speaker Jerry Shaw, Lincoln County DWI Program Coordinator, former mayor of Ruidoso, and life-long Democrat
A brief business meeting will follow, including a report from the party officers nominating committee.
If you are interested in becoming an officer, or would like to nominate someone (after checking with them on their willingness/ability to serve) please forward your / your nominee's name and contact information to a member of the nominating committee. If possible, please put together a resume/biography which will help others in the party who may not know you or your nominee.
At this time the nominating committee is focusing on the positions of County Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
The roles and responsibilities are defined by the state Democratic Party.
In the near future, various positions that have been suggested in addition will need to be defined by our county organization and filled. These include Communications, Membership, Volunteer Coordinator, Local Politics/Government Monitor, Activities, Precinct Captains, and possibly others.
