Summer Job Announcement- New Mexico Fellows Program

(Santa Fe, NM) The New Mexico Fellows Program is now accepting applications for the summer of 2006.  The Fellows Program is designed to encourage New Mexico’s college and graduate school students to consider public service as a career and to give them valuable State Government experience.   Fellows are placed in different state agencies and perform specialized projects according to the needs of their agencies. 

The Fellowships are open to college-and graduate school-level students from all academic backgrounds.  They last 10 weeks in the summer and most are located in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.  Students will receive a stipend.

Interested students can obtain the application from the Governor’s website at www.governor.state.nm.us/nmfellows.php or by contacting Marissa Gonzales in the Office of the Governor at (505) 476-2237.  The application deadline is April 10th.
