A CALL TO ALL DEMOCRATS IN THE FIRST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT.

Jason Bousliman, the First Congressional District Vice Chair, invites all Democrats to an important platform hearing on behalf of the Democratic Party of New Mexico on Thursday, February 2^nd from 5:30-7:30 at the UNM Law School. Further details appear below.

The platform hearing is required by the Democratic Party Rules and pursuant to motions passed at the last State Central Committee Meeting. Chairman John Wertheim has appointed several Democrats to a Regional Resolutions Task Force to facilitate these meetings.  Bousliman took the initiative to put this meeting together in the First Congressional District.

The purpose of the meeting is to get input from Democrats on what the Party should stand for as expressed in our Platform and Resolutions.  Minutes from the meeting will be provided to the DPNM Platform and Resolutions Committee, which will draft and consider a platform in the weeks ahead.  The Platform will be voted on at the Democratic Party Pre-Primary Convention on March 18.
