La Fonda, 6:00 Tuesday, October 12, 2010 - 5:00 for conversation over dinner first

On the agenda - lots, but most important:  THE ELECTION November 2!

Lunacrats are needed at this meeting to offer their services on Election Day for the main work of any political party, getting out the vote!  Poll watchers and alternates, drivers, callers and phone sitters are the categories, a total of about three dozen people.  Now if you've come to a meeting lately you know that's everybody who usually comes, plus or minus a few.  So don't hold back, don't say, "Well, I dunno...."  Instead, everybody decide ahead of time which role you can most comfortably fill, mark it on the calendar and enthusiastically do one specific thing to help keep our government at every level out of the hands of the Tea Party folks.

If you can't come to the meeting to volunteer in person, please call me, Lynn at 544-2584 or 545-1000, or Jane 544-8870 or 494-1561 or respond to this email, with your preference or to get more information.  The only way we can beat the Right's overwhelmingly more money is with overwhelmingly more people.  Be one, and help get to MORE!
